Silver Strikers Coach Mgangira: "We're Ready to Take on Bullets and Win"

Silver Strikers Head Coach Peter Mgangira is optimistic about returning to Lilongwe with a win against league leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets this Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium. "The boys are ready for the match come Sunday," Mgangira said, following a 0-3 win against Blue Eagles in a Cup tie on Thursday. "We're hopeful of getting maximum points on this one," he added.

Despite facing a strong opponent, Mgangira believes his team is focused and prepared for the challenge. "We respect our opponents, but we do not fear them," he stated. "Our goal is to reduce the gap between us and the leaders, and we're determined to make that happen."

The importance of utilizing scoring opportunities in big games is not lost on Mgangira. "This is a big game which does not give you numerous goal scoring opportunities," he explained. "You just have to score from the few you get."

Silver Strikers last played a league match on August 27 against Chitipa United. The two sides met in the first game of the 2025 TNM Super League this season, with Bullets winning 0-1.

"We're confident in our abilities and our preparation," Mgangira continued. "The boys are focused and determined to give their all on Sunday. We're looking forward to a great match."

With only a few opportunities to score, Silver Strikers will need to make the most of them if they hope to take home the win. Fans and pundits alike will be watching closely to see if Mgangira's team can deliver.
