Silver Strikers: A Busy August Awaits as Men's Team Targets TNM Super League First Round Finish and Ladies Continue Premiership Campaign

August is shaping up to be a busy month for Malawian football powerhouse Silver Strikers, as their men's team aims to finish the first round of the TNM Super League strongly, and their Ladies' team continues their campaign in the National Bank of Malawi Premiership.

The Reserve side continued with the 2025 Chipiku Central Region league, facing Shire Wimbe FC, Mbavi United, TN Stars, and Chatoloma Admarc.

As August arrives, the men's senior side will be on a mission to finish off the TNM Super League first round. They will kickstart the month with a home match against Mighty Tigers on Saturday, followed by a trip up north to face Mzuzu City Hammers at Rumphi Stadium on Sunday, 10 August 2025.

Silver Strikers Ladies will continue with their Premiership campaign, playing Moyale Sisters on Sunday 3 August 2025 at Silver Stadium in Lilongwe before traveling to Ascent Academy on 23 August. The Ladies' side will finish off the month by hosting Topik Academy at Silver Stadium on 30th August.

The Reserve side will continue with the 2025 Chipiku Central Region League, aiming to break to the top of the table. Silver Strikers Youth will begin the month with double headers over the weekend, starting with an away fixture against Memory Rangers to be played at Mvama Primary School ground on Saturday. They will later host Mpira Mudzi Mwathu on Sunday.
