FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Welcomes Back Forward Bright Munthali

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is thrilled to announce the return of forward Bright Munthali to the team, three years after his departure in 2022. Munthali, who is a fan favorite, has signed a six-month contract with the Red and White squad.

The 29-year-old Malawian international spent a season and a half with Mozambican side Associação Desportiva de Vilankulo, scoring an impressive seven goals in all competitions before returning to Malawi in 2024. He later had a brief stint training with Bangwe All Stars but did not feature in any competitive matches.

Speaking about his return to Bullets, Munthali expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. "I'm excited to be back with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets. It's not something I take for granted. I thank God for giving me another chance to represent this great team," he said.

Munthali's motivation to return to Bullets came from his belief that he still had unfinished business with the team. "When I left, I knew my job here wasn't finished. I told myself that one day I would be back," he explained.

The forward aims to help the team achieve even more success in his second spell with Bullets. "The team has achieved a lot since I left, and just recently won the Airtel Top 8 Cup. I believe I can break into the first XI and help the team achieve even more," he said.

Bullets head coach Peter Mponda welcomed Munthali's return, highlighting the experience he brings to the squad. "Bright is a player who knows the culture of this club and has played at a high level both locally and abroad. He's coming in with experience that can help us in the run-in, and we believe he will add value on and off the pitch," said Mponda.

Munthali's deal with Bullets will run until the end of the 2025 season. Bullets fans can expect nothing but good things from him, according to the forward.

Bullets fans can look forward to seeing Munthali in action again soon as the team continues its quest for more glory in the Malawian league and cups.
