Malawi Women's Football Team to Face Lesotho in Historic Friendly Matches
The Malawi National Women’s Football Team, The Scorchers, are set to play two international friendly matches against Lesotho as part of their preparations for the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers against Angola. Fazili remains optimistic about the team’s progress, stating that the opposition they have faced so far, which includes teams that consistently compete at the top level in WAFCON and the World Cup, is exactly what they need as they prepare for Angola.
